ROYAL AFTERNOON TEA AT THE MILESTONE HOTEL, LONDON

Celebrate the 60th anniversary of Her Majesty’s coronation in the finest traditional style. In honour of this wonderful event The Milestone  have created a special Afternoon Tea that includes Her Majesty’s favourite treats. Darjeeling is the tea of choice at Buckingham Palace and the Queen personally favours these simple delicacies at this time of day:

Smoked Scottish salmon and cream cheese
Raspberry Jam and unsalted butter
Cucumber and a pinch of sea salt

To this selection they have also added those which have proved particularly popular with our guests:

Chicken mayonnaise with chopped almond
Free-range egg mayonnaise and Hampshire watercress
Roast Ham and English mustard
Mull of Kintyre Cheddar and tomato
A warm selection of freshly baked scones served with Devonshire clotted cream and homemade strawberry preserve

Tea time is also a wonderful opportunity to indulge one’s sweet tooth!
Selection of pastries, which features some of the Queen’s favourites:
Ginger Cupcakes
Honey Sponge
Chocolate éclairs
Chocolate and cherry cake

Also includes a dish of these popular classics:
Fruit Tartlets
Short Bread
Vanilla Cheesecake
Chocolate Brownie

It’s an experience fit for a Queen, served either in the sumptuous surroundings of the Park Lounge or in the Conservatory for £35.00 per person, or £45.00 including a glass of Champagne.
