Upcoming Events: Kings Cross Icecream Festival 1st and 2nd September, London

Attention all ice-cream lovers! Get to kings cross this weekend there’s going to be an ice cream festival, it’s the King’s Cross Ice cream Festival happening on the 1st and 2nd of September at Granary Square. Apart from being able to stuff yourself silly with the best ice cream available in London, you’ll also get a chance to learn about the history and production of ice cream in the UK.

Carlo Gatti who brought ice cream to England in 1851 was Swiss but originated from Canton Ticino, the main Italian-speaking area of Switzerland. The festival explores his beginnings in the ice-cream business , practically introducing London to ice cream and celebrates his legacy. Though Italy gives tough competition there are loads of great Ice Cream spots in London Like our favourite the Icecreamists!
